The Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) has stepped up efforts to promote locally manufactured goods with the launch of the two-day Proudly Zambian event at Piazza, East Park Mall in Lusaka.

The event, running from 15th to 16th September 2026, brings together local manufacturers and consumers, providing businesses with a platform to showcase Zambian-made products and strengthen their connection with the market.

The initiative comes as manufacturers continue to highlight the importance of supporting local production, with consumers encouraged to consider locally made products when making purchasing decisions.

The event is also showcasing the contribution of Zambia’s manufacturing sector to employment creation, entrepreneurship and economic activity, while giving participating businesses an opportunity to promote their brands.

With the event continuing tomorrow, ZAM is using the platform to reinforce the Proudly Zambian message and encourage greater visibility and appreciation of products manufactured within the country.
