Zambia is in July expected to host the Continental Energy and Infrastructure Investment Forum (CEIIF), the event which will bring together Africa’s leading voices in energy, infrastructure, and finance.
CEIIF is a high-level platform designed to accelerate sustainable investment, policy innovation and collaboration across the continent’s energy and infrastructure landscape.
Building on the success of the inaugural CEIIF in 2024, which culminated in the unveiling of a project pipeline valued at over US$2.6 billion, this year’s forum promises even greater momentum.
CEIIF Media Liason Kachepa Mtumbi says in a statement issued to Solwezi Today that the 2025 edition will be held at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka from July 21 to 24.
Over 350 senior-level public and private sector delegates, as well as leading financial institutions from across Africa are expected to attend the forum
This year’s CEIIF will focus on strategic pillars that include Expanding and deepening the project pipeline through targeted investment discussions and deal structuring.
The form will also focus on Sharing best practices and tackling regulatory and skills development challenges, with an emphasis on policy frameworks that enable scalable infrastructure development.
The other strategic pillars includes Solutioning for Africa’s urgent energy and infrastructure needs to support of the priorities that have been set by regional trade bodies and the Africa Union (AU).
Engaging key stakeholders on strategies for the sustainable development of Africa’s critical mineral reserves and trade corridors, a cornerstone for the continent’s green industrialization agenda will also be the other strategic pillar expected to be tackled.
From ministerial leaders to investors, development partners and innovators, CEIIF 2025 will offer an unparalleled platform for forging partnerships that advance Africa’s energy independence and economic transformation.
