President Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived in Washington, D.C., for a Working Visit aimed at strengthening relations between South Africa and the United States.
The visit seeks to reset and revitalise bilateral, economic, and commercial ties between the two nations. A central feature of the visit will be President Ramaphosa’s meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday, 21 May 2025.
President Ramaphosa is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including:

This visit reaffirms South Africa’s commitment to deepening diplomatic and economic engagement with the United States, focusing on mutual interests in trade, investment, and global cooperation.
