FQM Trident Showing Up Where Work Matters Most

FQM Trident Limited joined this year’s Labour Day commemoration in Manyama with a message that felt grounded in the realities many workers face.

The national theme focused on protecting jobs, skills and pensions, and the conversations on the ground reflected those concerns. Rather than just marking the occasion, the event created space to reflect on what decent work actually looks like in practice and how it can be sustained.

In past Labour Day events, FQM Trident has often used the moment to recognise employees and highlight progress in safety and training.

Milestones such as long periods without workplace incidents and ongoing skills development have been part of that story, but they also point to the constant effort required to maintain standards.

These commemorations have gradually shifted from celebration alone to a more balanced reflection on both achievements and the work still ahead.

At Manyama this year, that balance was still present. There was a clear sense of commitment to improving working conditions and preparing employees for a changing job landscape, but also an understanding that these goals take time and consistency.

The gathering served as a reminder that building a sustainable future for workers is not a single event but an ongoing process shaped by everyday actions as much as public commitments.

FQM trident were recognised as the Best Dressed and the Best Awarding Employer, a reflection of their strong team spirit and continued commitment to valuing and rewarding people.
