Mary Begg, Tusekelemo seal historic healthcare partnership

Mary Begg Health Services and Tusekelemo Community Medical Centre have formalized a partnership dedicated to expanding top-tier medical care across Central Province.

 

Speaking at the official MoU signing, Mary Begg Health Services General Manager Peter Kanaganayagam reaffirmed that quality healthcare is a basic human right. He highlighted that the partnership directly drives Sustainable Development Goal 3 by delivering better health and well-being across the community.

 

“This partnership is about more than the signing of an agreement. It is about bringing together our strengths, expertise and experience to enhance patient care, strengthen clinical capacity, support healthcare professionals and create lasting value for the communities we serve,” Kanaganayagam said.

 

He noted that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy life hence both medical facilities quest to formalize a partnership founded on a shared vision of strengthening healthcare services and expanding access to quality healthcare across Central Province.

 

Kanaganayagam commended the Board and Management of Tusekelemo Community Medical Centre for sharing this vision and embarking on the partnership built on mutual respect, trust and a common purpose to create the strongest foundation for sustainable progress.

 

“We are proud to support the Government to improve healthcare delivery, by complementing national and regional efforts to strengthen health systems and extend access to quality healthcare for all in the four provinces that we are operating including North Western, Copperbelt, Lusaka and now Central Province.”
